Customer complained of Rough idle and managment light on at tickover they also mentioned it was difficut to emove the oil cap with the engine running.

It was noticed there was a slight hissing sound heard when the engine was running.It was suspected manifold vacuum leaking into breather system (air leak). Also it was noted that when the engine was running t was dffucult to remove the oil cap. The fault was found to be faulty breather valve.

The inlet manifold breather pipework tees to crank breather and rocker cover so we clamped the inlet manifold pipe and engine tickover stabalized the oil cap was then easy to remove as there was no manifold vacume going into the cylinder head. the one way valve which was fould to be faulty.
